What is psychotherapy?
Have you recently been feeling depressed, anxious, or overwhelmed with your daily workload? Or maybe everything looks perfect on the outside, but you don’t feel fulfilled. Whatever the reason may be, counselling and therapy can provide you with the space to explore your thoughts and feelings without any fear of judgement.
You do not need to have a presenting issue that requires ‘fixing’ to seek therapy. I am here to support you in your personal journey, whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, loss and grief, relationship difficulties, familial issues, identity conflict or trauma, the space is for you and all thoughts are welcome and worth exploring.
Therapy provides you the opportunity to dive in and explore your inner world, and in doing so recognizing unhelpful patterns and promoting self-development. Together we can work towards finding the root cause of your concerns, and building a stronger sense of self through a compassion focused dialogue.
The therapeutic relationship is where the core of the work lies, it offers you to gain insight into the parts of you that may feel hidden, damaged, or parts you have not yet had the opportunity to explore. Together, we can work towards healing the parts that hurt, by looking to the past, and understanding how it impacts the present, I believe you have all the tools you need to live a meaningful life, as they exist inside of you.
